On a hazy summer morning, I drove out to meet up with my friend and well-known Boston photographer, Greg Dubois. The goal of the early morning was to capture two lighthouses, Boston Light and Graves Light, in one photograph at sunrise. Double lighthouses are a rare commodity, and I was excited to see what we would find. It was the perfect vantage point, but the initial sunset color was a bust. As we were about to pack up, the atmosphere began to light up with a beautiful orange color. I timed the frame to catch the beacon of Boston Light, and then enjoyed the scene until the color passed and the day began.
